The MAGQUIP range of general-purpose, fail-safe USB disc brakes are suitable for a variety of mining and industrial applications including cranes, conveyors, fans, winches, and other machinery that require safe stopping and holding via disc braking.
The dimensions comply with the requirement of German standard (DIN) 15435 in respect to fixing centres and bolt holes, centre height, brake show clearance and disc diameter. They are of course interchangeable with other manufacturers brakes made to the same DIN standard.
Brake torque is applied by compression spring and electrically released by electrohydraulic thrustor.
The thrustors are a supplied with IP65 enclosures as standard, with an ATEX flame/explosion-proof version available.
Operating voltages go up to 1000V 3Ph 50 60Hz
